We began business in 1979 in Yaowarat, Bangkok's Chinatown followed by several years in rented premises at Soi Chidlom and Central Chidlom Tower before moving to our own present offices in January 2000. This was necessary to meet our expanding business in both travel and education.
From the start, we pioneered sending students to study English in Singapore. The first batch of 40 Thai students were taught by British teachers, and accommodated in a university hostel. Its success led us to expand our summer programmes to the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. We set a record in a particular year by sending 520 students to Nanyang University campus in Singapore.
Once a year, we hold an education fair and publish a colour brochure on pathways to international education.
Regency Travel offers many and varied tours to all parts of the world. In addition to package tours, we sell air tickets, hotel accommodation, transportation and other travel-related services. You can now make your bookings by phone, in person or through the internet.
During the Thai school holidays in April and October, we offer more than a dozen 'summer courses' in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore and Thailand. In July, we have individual and group programmes for students of International Schools in Thailand. With 25 years' experience, we can offer students the most challenging summer courses.
As English grows in popularity, more and more people are looking to study abroad. We provide personal counselling to students and help them find places in some of the best schools, colleges and universities in English speaking countries. We can also help those wishing to study Mandarin in China.
