XML Web Services are the next big thing in the evolution of the Internet. In order to help developers better understand what an XML Web Service is, we have exposed our corporate news feature as an XML Web Service.
The service allows developers to download a summary list of all News items in our database, the top five news item summaries or even the full text of a specified News item in XML format. This allows developers to access data directly from any platform whether it be Microsoft, IBM, Sun or Oracle and manipulate it directly.
To see the service in action point, click "Add Web Reference" from within Visual Studio .Net and enter the following URL: https://www.cyberworksconsulting.com/services/svcNews.asmx .
